What we need is paper ballots, marked by hand, with personal receipts, and counted in public on a national voting holiday that falls on a Friday.

I am un-abashedly politically issue oriented with friends and my huge family and all acquaintances and the statement above receives almost 100% approval amongst all of them.

I know my "poll" is not scientific and that there are details that need to be figured out, but I do enjoy testing this idea and feel encouraged by how many different kinds of people support it.
