Just came in. watched 5 min of CSPAN 2. Why do Repukes always rudely interrupt?
Why can't they let people finish their sentences and thoughts?

Their rudeness and ignorance is absolutely disgusting. If this is a political process and an approach, it is barbaric and obsolete. Just because someone yells louder and interrupts with lies, and gets their word in, it doesn't take away from the fact that they are lies.

If only Dems could learn to be just a little more (I mean a little) rude and pushy. Since the public tends to swallow whatever they hear and whoever talks the loudest, allowing the Repukes the time they grab is destructive to our cause.

Stating the obvious, but now I need to turn this off - it is ruining a lovely Saturday morning.

It is simply the nature of the beast.

5. it's part of the whole no one matters as much as ME mentality-
that and the need to dominate and control I think.

And personally, I'm glad Democrats tend to be much more patient and respectful.

It demonstrates the differences in our perspectives pretty clearly.

the party of ME and the party of WE.

6. Shouting people down is what you do when truth and facts are NOT on your side.
Which is why it is predominantly a RW tactic.

7. They run on emotions and don't so much speak as RANT.
I hear them call up the local progressive radio show here on Saturday afternoon and by the time they get on the air they are in such an insane frenzy of screetching and screaming that their babblings are an assault on the eardrums.

No listening goes on at all. They take a deep breath when their name is announced and then just unload their anger until they run out of breath. How can you reason with that?

They don't know how to conduct themselves in a civilized society.

9. Basically, they are rude and thoughtless, but they want to appear "tough".
Their constituents are frightened little bunnies, so they LOVE tough pols who represent them.

10. One of my favorite quotes is applicable here...
"Rudeness is a weak man's imitation of strength."

12. Because they're bullies.
And because it works.

They've done it for years, and the noise machine has taken their word as truth because they're the loudest.
