The Central American nation of Nicaragua is one of a handful of countries with a complete ban on abortion.

Under the law, any medical procedure is banned if it jeopardises the life of the fetus, even if the procedure is meant to save the mother's life.

But protesters are now calling on the government to reverse the law after a 27-year-old pregnant woman with cancer said she was told she could not have an aggressive chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment because it would harm her baby.

justice is needed for Nicaraguan women. Nicaraguan men need to get their noses out of women's business.

wishing the women success.
