health care is a farce! From the religious point of view there is no instruction in the Bible about abortion as murder, in fact no instruction at all. From a moral point of view is the body more important than the spirit? While denying abortion services to the poor this same stupid group oonstantly cuts basic services needed for a decent life. Denying abortion services to the poor and low income while the well to do can simply go to Canada or Europe and obtain abortion services is a farce. I still think those with money and power need cannon fodder to pursue their wealth problems (like oil and Iraq). The fact is fewer monied and powerful kids are on the front lines of war (Bush being a prime example)than the poor/low income. Who in the hell do you anti-abortionist think your kidding? You don't want government in your lives but it doesn't bother you when it comes to abortion does it? As one of my ancestors would say "you speak with a forked tongue". Like the orginal serpent.

You are right, many of the most determined "pro-life" people are also the same people who are "pro death penalty," "pro-war," and who do not care about what happens to a child once he/she is born. . .

It seems that too many of the "pro-lifers" are only interested in "protecting the foetus,". . .when it doesn't cost them anything and the foetus is the whole responsibility of the mother (and, if he/she is lucky, the father!).

But ask many of those "pro-lifers" to pay for pre-natal care for the mother and the foetus. . .and they talk about "responsibility."
Ask them to pay for the hospital bill, the pediatric bills for the next 10 years, and for child-care and school improvement. . .and they go back to "personal responsibility" and "no free handouts!!!!"

Hypocrites!
