The nail-biting wait for a vote on the health care reform bill is almost over, with an outcome expected this Sunday. Will the onset of Spring melt the icy hearts of the Republicans and allow the American people access to an improved health care system? While far from perfect, this bill is a baby-step in the right direction. Let�s hope the NeoCons can put aside their selfish partisan motives and do the right thing for the people.

Also on the table tonight is the troubled governorship of Mark Sanford of SC, the ongoing tension between the US and Israel, the jobs problem that won�t go away, and your phone calls on all the issues of the week!

Welcome, Truthseekers, to the Friday edition of the Malloy show, the last Friday of a long winter, the last Friday before the vote on health care reform. Lot�s of new beginnings and potential coming this weekend. President Obama made his final push for passage of the health care legislation this morning, urging us all to stop listening to the lies, threats, and scare-tactics as the Republicans pull out all the stops and throw out all the barricades they can to make sure Americans never receive fair, afordable health care.

Haven�t we had enough of their fear-mongering? Wasn�t the last decade proof enough that the best the GOP has to offer is illegal wars, ballooning deficits, terror attacks domestic and foreign, corporate bailouts, reduction of health and safety standards, the ruination of our educational system, out-of-control defense spending, the destruction of our global reputation with illegal torture techniques, spying on Americans, and near abolition of our basic Constitutional rights?

And now, after all the damaged they�ve wrekced, they want to stomp on our only chance to have even a modicum of relief from Big Pharma and Big Insurance and realize even a tiny measure of reform?

Do they hate America that much? Haven�t we learned, at last, that they have nothing to offer and care not a whit about our welfare? Don�t we deserve better?
