An affront to God! So, that's why HCR should be rejected.

23. Totally different.
Gawd would have approved of FORCING someone to live against her will. Gawd obviously would be angry if they helped millions of people who WANT to live. :eyes:

These people...

I'm not a fan of this particular bill, but the reasons they manage to come up with are laughable, at best.

18. Why is it that the most un-Christian
bunch of people...republicans, are always the ones to yell about God. They who...cut lunch and breakfast for the poor and needy, who cut help with fuel costs for the poor to middle class, cut funding for schools, hospitals, and all social programs proclaim them selves Christian when they seem more like the spawn of the devil.

if god has a problem with it, I'm sure he'll intervene. And if not, then it must be god's will! Geesh for a bunch of religious nuts, they sure don't have any faith in their god.

28. Because, after all,
Jesus didn't heal the sick, he forced people to buy for-profit, unregulated rightwing insurance which regularly denies claims, with copays, allowances to drop people for "fraud", yearly caps, and huge deductibles. Right?

That would be sarcasm, except that the GOP knows that all good people are white and Christian.

32. The Phony Christians seem to have not even read the New Testament
In regard to the Sabbath, Mark reported the following:
Jesus was walking through some wheat fields on a Sabbath. As his disciples walked along with him, they began to pick the heads of wheat. So the Pharisees said to Jesus., "Look, it is against our Law for your disciples to do that on the Sabbath!"

Jesus answered, "Have you never read what David did that time when he needed something to eat? He and his men were hungry, so he went into the house of God and ate the bread offered to God...And Jesus concluded, "The Sabbath was made for the good of man; man was not made for the Sabbath."
