Stand up for decency in politics

On Tuesday, March 16th, several protesters attending a Tea Party Rally in front of Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy's district office in Columbus aggressively mocked a man whose sign said he suffers from Parkinson’s disease. The protesters screamed at the victim saying he was “in the wrong end of town for a handout,” and threw money at him while he was seated on the ground in front of them.

The debate on health care reform has been long and passionate, but we can all agree that this sort of behavior has no place in our political discourse. We respect the right of everyone to voice their opinions. But how can we ignore this type of abuse when it occurs in the public square?

We're calling on the organizations that promoted the rally - including the Columbus Tea Party, and Americans for Prosperity - and those who attended to condemn what happened.

Please sign the petition below asking for a clear and swift rebuke of this behavior.

I want to know who those men at the front are... well, I call them 'men'. They're behaving like devils, but I want them outed.

That nazi-like younger man in the tie showing clear mental illness when he points at himself and screams he'll decide when to give his money away (cuckoo) needs exposed. And that older man talking about the wrong part of town for handouts needs shamed, too.

Jesus Christ is all about social justice - these people are not approved by Jesus - they can try and pretend he supports their actions, but the loving God I know does not condone such demonic behavior.

Those people going off the deep end are the result of Rush, Beck, Fox, Palin,
and The Free Republic which in turns fuels their hatred of the other side w/ the

to kill Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks in 2003

BTW to have a civil talk about health care last summer Mary Jo and company had to screen
the people coming to hear her talk to avoid these type of assholes.

Someone on Daily Kos was saying they looked familiar, guessing they were operatives that were bussed in.

Ideally, someone would find out exactly who they were, broadcast their names, phone numbers & home addresses across the Internet, on 4chan in particular.

Maybe then these reptiles would find out what it's like to be on the receiving end.

Why yes, I am in favor of endlessly harassing these teabaggers until they have mental breakdowns and slit their own wrists.
