Funny thing is I wouldn't be if progressive or liberals were not the public whipping boy of the legislative process by the Democratic Party. We get nothing in nothing in legislation, stay loyal, and are publicly chastised even though our reps are the only elected members that ever bend. This upcoming election may be my last as a registered Democrat.

7. IWR was the breaking point for me

Within 10 minutes of that vote I became a registered Independent. I simply refuse to be a member of a party that is so demonstrably spineless. I support Dems - but not as a Dem.

bidder. I'm just about done with politics. Focusing on gardening and art. It's not healthy to be on a steady level of outrage.
