26. President Obama Did Great, All Fox Wanted To Talk About Was Parliamentary Rules...

Reconciliation, Deem and pass, etc. President Obama did a great job of explainig that deem and pass merely means that House members get to vote for the bill they want, rather than go through the convoluted process of passing a Senate Bill they don't like, then a separate reconciliation bill. There is no substantive difference in the resulting bill.

Yet, again and again, the interviewer tried to prevent any discussion about the substance of the HCR bills while complaining that no one knows whats in them. Amazing.
