Obama to appear on faux News Wednesday
Hell has officially frozen over.

President Obama is going on Fox News.

He must really want to pass that health-care bill.

No, he's not going to get emotional with Glenn Beck. But Obama will sit down with anchor Bret Baier for an interview that will air Wednesday on the 6 p.m. newscast "Special Report."

1. If I was President I would not be granting any interviews with any of those scumbags.

20. If I were President
I would have pulled the WH Press Credentials from Faux News, the Moonie Times and all the rest of the RW echo chambers so-called journalists.

A simple executive order banning them all from Federal property would be easier and just as effective too.

4. Bret's okay...
I think it's smart. He'll get a chance to explain to those who only watch Fox.

5. Will Fox selectively edit the interview?
like they do all interviews?

6. Ignoring Fox News with their big megaphone ...
is foolish. It just increases their ratings and allows them to broadcast more paranoia about Obama's administration and socialism.

Obama wants to face the dragon in its cave. He may not be able to slay it, but perhaps he can tame it.

15. Treating them as a credible "news" source is incredibly foolish
he keeps thinking that he'll win over the people he agrees with most of the time, but until he puts an (R) behind his name that will never happen (and even that wouldn't be a guarantee; they'll never stop being racists).

9. Dollars to donuts the same people who jumped down DK's throat for going will praise Obama for going.
Sometimes I really hate the no callout rule. ;)

10. No, I only called out Hamsher on it because she made a deal about it during the election
about how bad it was to go on Fox. Then she turns around and does it herself.

And then she joined forces with Norquist and the Teabaggers.

Obama has never said Democrats can't go on Fox, at least to my recollection.

11. There are numerous people here who trashed DK for going on Fox.
I'm not talking about Hamsher (I really don't care about her one way or the other). This was about the people who hate DK and attacked him for doing something that Obama is now doing himself, and my suspicions that these very same people will have no problems with Obama doing what they trashed DK for doing.

16. I used to say that Bush could wrap a white male Christain baby in an American flag
douse him in gasoline and torch him in Times Square and the Freepers would still call Bush a Noble Patriot. We've got the same syndrome on our side.

18. So, Berni, Obama and the WH declared war on Fox news last year; that's worse than Hamshire

13. I bet it is heavily edited. I doubt very much Faux would ever allow
an unedited Obama on their Tv station.

19. If that's the case
we'll definitely hear about it + hear the unedited remarks which would at least partially defeat the purpose of editing it in the first place.
