I want more taxes
Yep. At least a penny or 2 on all emails. Might cost me a buck or 2 a month and worth every penny to see the spam people pay for every one. I also would like ten cents put on every share of stock that is traded. That might cost me 10 bucks a year, but also slow all the mega bank program trades that only cause excess speculation, raising prices on everything from gas to sugar. I might even go for a flat 50% tax on all income gained on credit default scores, wouldn't cost me.
Balance the budget, pay for health care, whatever.

5. We could exempt penny stocks
and a buck a day isn't that much. If you send 100 emails a day, you must be forwarding, spending way too much time on the computer or selling viagra. I don't get 100 ligit emails a month. I'd rather pay taxes on my emails than my pension. I might trade up to 500 shares a year. I don't trade them every hour trying to get rich quick. I do respect your opinion JunkMail.

7. Don't Worry, They're Coming...
The problem state, county and municipal governments are facing are massive and without a big flood of federal money, they're gonna have to find new ways to find money or face more cuts. The real estate bust will get deeper for them as downward property values continue to bite deep combined with an ongoing slump in retail and corporate taxes. These shortfalls aren't going away any time soon...so where do you find the money? Not that I see a tax on email coming soon, but I do for your Internet service...similar to taxes put on your phone and cable.

10. There's ALWAYS payback.
These dupes DO not get it. AT all. You will be paying whether now or later. Tax cuts aren't gifts.

8. TMTR should be at least 50% for what we need to pay for.
On FB the other day, one of my clown friends said "At least I got money BACK under Bush. A few times. Not so with this one". Uh, you didn't get SHIT back. That's called a BRIBE and what's happening now is called "Your rent's DUE, MFer". You WILL or already DID pay it back somehow. That's not a damned gift, dunce.

These morans who thought you could live in a "Cut Mah Tax's FerEVER" paradise and thought there'd never be any repercussions or bills come due make me laugh my balls off. Especially since one of their most popular cliches is "There's NO such thing as a free lunch". What a bunch of clones.

11. A little of the first, a lot of the second.
I've always said there should be a miniscule trade transaction tax. As much money as these people bank, they wouldn't even miss it.
