Eric Massa on Beck: "I own this misbehavior"
Very strange interview so far. there's something off about this guy. He claims the groping charge stems from his tickling some aide. Claims he did nothing sexual or criminal, but that his behavior was wrong.

1. It apparently wasn't one aide
There were multiple complaints, which is why Massa's chief of staff went to Hoyer some time ago. Hoyer allegedly said it needed to be taken to the ethics committee. End of story. Or rather, beginning of story.

2. When my uncle had cancer we went through some very strange behavioral changes.
I wonder if that is what we are seeing with Massa.

4. There is no way
Massa would have quit to avoid an ethics charge if all he did was "tickle" an aide. I have a funny feeling this is going to get really really weird pretty soon.

5. Does anyone else worry that he's batshit crazy?
I mean he's going on Beck to escalate this whacked out pissing match at a Clinton-Democrat. I'm waiting for him to jump up and scratch his fingernails on Becks chalkboard.

9. Masa false claim:
A union telling you it will not donate to your campaign if you're not a supporter of their bill.

He could say it's undue pressure, or on Beck- he could say it's extortion... but bribe is the wrong word.

Anyway, it's legal. And it's Republicans and bluedogs who maintain that. Beck called BS on it.

21. That's insane
of course unions and businesses give to people they agree with - it wouldn't make sense to give to those you disagree with. Where it wrong is if there is a trade for a vote to get money.

22. Isn't that the same thing
as saying we will give you money if you do support the bill?

Sorry, not much of a legal eagle.

15. again, I'm worried he has a need for counselling
He's wigging out. I hope the best for him and especially his family. He deserves to heal, but to not take everyone down with him.

19. Remember that Village People song--"In the Navy"?
Where can you find pleasure, search the world for treasure,
learn science, technology?
Where can you begin to make your dreams all come true
on the land or on the sea?

Relive it here:

But he still isn't giving Beck what he wanted. So...this interview is doing nobody any good.
