DO NOT be mislead by the passage of the jobs bill.
IMHO it was a brilliant move by the Rethugs. What better way to keep the President casting for the elusive Bipartisanfish? He won't catch another one.
I don't believe for a second that those Senators just jumped the party in a fit of rebellion. They haven't seen fit to do any such thing before. The bill was an easy give, and it had been watered down to a shadow of the original. Those that jumped probably got some cred where it was needed in their states.
Centerfold Brown got to show the voters of Massachusetts that he was a 'moderate.' Then he proceeded to make comments that could be construed as some approval for the man who flew into the IRS building.
They are all con artists and obstructionists. If Jim DeMint was on fire, I'd run get marshmallows.
