Well, why don't we take the health care system back to 1961. I think I'd settle for that. How many were uncovered then? If anyone can tell me whether things were "better" health care wise in '61 please do. If so, then let's follow the "Reagan Plan" and set back the clock to 1961. In the early 1960s Reagan taped a long recording that offered that America was on the verge of collapse due to the new legislation being proposed that would group seniors into a federal healthcare program. Reagan ranted, raved and breathlessly described how this legislation would lead to slavery for Americans under the bootheel of national government. What the gargantuan propaganda arm of the GOP, which includes Limbaugh, Beck etc., never tell their idiot listeners is that the program Reagan was discussing in his recording was MEDICARE!!!! This is the part of Reagan's speech that NEVER gets revealed when it is played by the GOP media liars.
