on his proposal to pay for the unemployment extension out of the stimulus money (IIRC), though that vote is guaranteed to fail.

Bunning made the demand, Reid agreed to allow it to come up for a vote (since he knew Bunning's amendment would fail), then Bunning threw a hissy-fit and put a hold up because it would fail, and tried to hold the Senate hostage to try to force his amendment in.

Something that would only benefit about 3,000 families in the country.

Now, Kelly O'Donnell just said the two amendments are going to be on a bill that covers unemployment benefits for the entire year of 2010. What makes them think he won't pull the same shit again?
