Keith Olbermann Misses Libby-Downing St. Memo Opportunity
I watched Countdown tonight, and he had a perfect opportunity to bring up the Downing St Memos while talking about the Libby trial. :banghead:

2. Olbermann's previously discussed the DSM on Countdown & was one of the first to cover it on
national TV after it was made public.

4. Yes, could everyone can it with the "GE censors Keith from saying some things" line?
I think Keith has already made it quite clear: No one is censoring anything he says. If there is something he doesn't say, it's because he decided not to, or overlooked it, or what have you. It is not censorship.

Honestly, does anyone think that GE would have allowed him to get away with the phrase "planned obsolescence of ordnance" in a Special Comment if they were censoring what he said?

3. In what context?
While all of this is tied together is one form or another, how would Keith have introduced the DSM as part of the Libby trial narrative?

Personally, as much as I'd love him to bring up the subject again, I don't think it would have worked to make the Libby trial proceedings as clear and concise as it needs to be.

5. Maybe it would obscure the trial, but it goes to motive
Edited on Tue Jan-30-07 02:46 PM by Pryderi
the effort to discredit Wilson is inextricably linked to DSM's "fixing the facts around the policy".

6. It is not
what Scooter is on trial for. Thank goodness Keith remains focused.
