Can someone explain why the Democrats adjourned?Wasn't there another way to deal with Bunning?
Doesn't this let him win? I didn't follow this closely so i would appreciate someone who did letting me know.It seems some procedure could have been used to fight him.

2.  I don't see that. I see where they say Bunning wouldn't relent by friday so
they adjourned. I don't see why they couldn't stay in session. What senate rules prevented that? I truly don't understand.

5. I had heard that many Senators had already gone home.
So there likely wouldn't have been enough votes to end it, which is why he started it in the first place.
