Just got an email from Boxer re: unemployment extensions
Edited on Sun Feb-28-10 04:07 PM by graywarrior
Part of it reads:

Republican Senator Jim Bunning of Kentucky objected over and over again to efforts to pass this critical extension, and now unemployment benefits for more than a million Americans -- including 201,000 Californians -- will expire tonight.

The Party that just keeps on giving. Grrrrrrrrr.

6. And we get accused of "ramming things down people's throats."
A lot of violent images floating around.

2. I have a Boxer email in my box now
Hadn't opened it; guess this is what it says

I hope the Democrats shout to the rooftops about Bunning's efforts.

When will people wake up to the Repubs real goals: keep everything for the few and let the rest go hungry and sick.

One of my relatives was telling me about how another relative needs a hysterectomy, but can't afford it because the job she's held for many years pays minimum wage and has no insurance benefits.

The poor woman did just what Repubs say to do: she begged for help from a charity, but the charity said her minimum wage job pays too much for them to help.

The person telling me the story was sympathetic to the woman's plight but at the same time hates socialism so much he doesn't want any health change.

7. send an email......these people think the only ones who are
important are those in their state. They forget the fact that the population of the USA is spread all over, so what you do in one state, may effect relatives in another...........and they do have influence over his constituents.

8. Bullshit! All Boxer and Ried have to do is change the rules
which is allowed by the constitution. Instead they just whine that their hands are tied. Fuck both of them. They are just more tools in the corporate tool chest.
