Police: Mom pimped girls for drugs

DENVER - 9Wants to Know has learned a Denver mother allegedly forced her 13-year-old daughter and her 13-year-old friend to have sex with gang members and criminals in exchange for drugs and money, according to law enforcement officials and neighbors.


"These are horrible accusations," said Lynn Kimbrough, spokeswoman for the Denver District Attorney's office. "They're very serious, they're very disturbing and we'll go forward with these charges at this time and be an advocate for victims."

9NEWS is not naming the mother because it would identify her daughter.

The Denver District Attorney's office charged the 33-year-old woman Tuesday with keeping a place of prostitution, pimping of a child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and pandering.

I'm reminded of Antoinette Nicole Davis. She sold her 5 year old into prostitution. She has been charged with human trafficking. She's currently pregnant with another child too.

4. i realize it's unconstitutional but...

if there is anything that imo warrants forced sterilization, it is when a parent sells a 13 yr old, let alone a 5 yr old into sex slavery.

6. If they've ever been convicted of selling a kid into sex slavery/prostitution, it might be possible

to keep them from ever having kids without sterilization. Make it a law that they cannot be legal guardian/parent to kids again in any way if they've ever been convicted of that crime. They can still have them, but they'll be taken away as soon as they have them.

That might not be as controversial as sterilization, but yes, it would still be controversial for some.

There MUST be something that could be done to keep them from doing that again. Longer sentences might just be the best option for them. I'd personally support life in prison without parole if they are convicted of trafficking/prostitution/molestation crimes against children.

8. i'd be willing to let them bargain for a reduced sentence

if they'd agree to forced sterilization. i just know the case law says that is absolutely verboten. it is simply unconstitutional always, so from a legal standpoint i understand it's impossible. i'm just sayin' if you are pimping your 13 yr old, your kid should be taken away from you and you should never reproduce ever...

If drugs were sold to people by honest vendors instead of drug lords and their underage mules, this would not be happening. She'd have been able to get help before she ran out of money to buy the drugs.
