On Meet the Press?

The woman just lays out the facts, and makes the man look stupid. God I love this woman.

1. Cantor looks stupid & shallow all on his own
Edited on Sun Feb-28-10 11:23 AM by SpiralHawk
Doesn't need any help. The republicon talking points are so encrusted with BS that only kool-aid guzzlers can possibly swallow.

2. well, making Eric Cantor look dumb
isn't exactly a hard job, though she would certainly do it way more easily and much better than me.

But, what are they debating? I can't watch TV right now.

4. I saw it and agree, but,
nobody has to work very hard to make that loser look stupid. SLAM DUNK.

P.S. I also totally love Congresswoman Wasserman-Schultz. She's the best!! :bounce:

19. I love how she doesn't allow anyone to walk all over her, even during the delegate fight
in 2007 (?) - not a very PC experience that, but she stood up to it, even though she made a bunch of us kind of uncomfortable.

I love how competent AND vocal she is.

21. I watched a lot of it. She stood up for Florida. Though I didn't agree, I admire that sort of thing.

24. That's the part they don't get - we admire and respect strong leaders
who stand up for ideals even when we disagree with them way more than ones who just twist every time they think the wind has shifted a bit. I don't expect to agree with any politician 100% of the time, but I do expect them to be fighting for the platforms they put out there and do everything they can to live up to their campaign promises

8. I thought that Cantor got too much talking time compared to Schulz.
I missed the very beginning.

9. I love Debbie.....! Cantor looked a bit bewildered at times, like he was the child

in a room full of adults....and he found it hard to look at the African American to his right, when he was speaking.

They are homophobic, racist, narrow-minded assholes. All of them.

11. Yes, looking back on the summit now
the republicans all seemed like a bunch of people who had to toe the line (corporate line), even though they may not agree, and were trying their best to support something not of their own making. Hence, they spouted talking points and nonsense.

13. Wasserman-Schultz is too DLCish for me sometimes, but there's no doubt that she can handle Repugs...
.... on TV and on the House floor. She's smart and tough.

14. I recorded it and just watched. She was great- I think a lot of great points came out in that panel
Cantor was outnumbered, for sure, but everyone was speaking truth.

18. I was shocked to hear Gregory ask him what would it take to get them to vote YES
and he stated the same old thing...tort reform, buying across state lines, etc. Brownstein had already stated that they tried to pass those things when repubs had the majority and they didn't pass them.

22. DWS was/is GREAT!!!
I caught most of it... Jeez, is Little Eric's voice 'horrible or what!!! He is such a whinny fucker, you just know he was the kid in school who would rat you out or definitely never let you copy his homework... What a baby!!!

SHE WAS ON THE OTHER HAND GREAT!!!

I know there are some Floridians here who say she was not very helpful to progressive candidates in '08 and that might be true; but as a NATIONAL spokesperson for people like us, she is very, very effective. Remember when she murdered Issa on Tweety with how many people got/kept their jobs with the Stimulus $$$.. IT WAS SO GREAT...

Gregory sucked ass as usual, I think Russet's skeleton would do a better job never mind how awesome Rachel would be!!!!!!!!!!!!
