How would you classify Sarah Palin's book?
A friend wrote me asking if it would be considered a biography and I'm looking for a better category. Comedy? Fantasy? In what section of a book store should this be placed?

It has to be. It was written by a ghost writer.

Failin isn't even clever enough to write an inscription on a greeting card by herself.

Not only that, if she ever attempted to write a book she'd
quit before she got done with the first chapter.

23. Open the cover, go a few pages in and start
cutting a section out of the middle as deeply as a razor knife will go...repeat till the end, making sure the cut out part is consistent in size, line with fabric glued to the resulting hole inside, and you've got yourself a nifty little "book safe".

:)

30. Science Fiction esp the part about her having that baby.
That baby story is AMAZING how NO ONE in the MSM (outside of Andrew Sullivan) wants to TOUCH it and yet it seems pretty OBVIOUS it's "The Big Lie" and could, if properly exposed, destroy her, yet they don't do it....

Then I'd move on to something more interesting than Sarah Palin.

36. Roman à clef
(per Wikipedia)

a novel describing real life

The reasons an author might choose the roman à clef format include:

* Satire
* Writing about controversial topics and/or reporting inside information on scandals without giving rise to charges of libel
* The opportunity to turn the tale the way the author would like it to have gone
* The opportunity to portray personal, autobiographical experiences without having to expose the author as the subject
* Avoiding self-incrimination or incrimination of others that could be used as evidence in civil, criminal, or disciplinary proceedings
