That guy who took Senator Kennedy's seat, he sure showed the Republicans one thing. If they want to get elected they have to run and vote far far to the left of their Party's current positions.

2. Nonsense. He is an opportunist who is getting media coverage and want to be reelected
Edited on Sun Feb-28-10 09:30 AM by Mass
Please stop promoting him. He is a RWer with ties with the far right and a wish to be reelected in liberal MA. He should be despised by all of us because he has no core belief (no different than a Lieberman).

He casted ONE vote against his party, a vote that Kit Bond casted as well. Not exactly a sign that he is a moderate.

5. Gotta agree with you...
He kinda sorta pulled a Lieberman on us without actually calling himself an "Independent"...just sneaking the word in at various points in his campaign.

He's smart enough to know we're all going to be watching him very closely, because he's walking a fine political tightrope here. One wrong move, and out he goes...

Although I don't know if it would bother him all that much to be ousted...he'd probably just turn around and run for President at some point.
