I'm not going to kill or hurt someone because things didn't fall my way.

I'm not going to kill or hurt someone to make some half-assed political point.

Am I pissed? Yeah. Does it negatively impact my life? Yeah. Does that give me the right to hurt someone? No.

I've gotten into heated political debates with many types. Gun grabbers, pro-lifers, anti-marriage people, etc. I've gotten very angry in some of these situations but I've never once been tempted to hurt someone because of it.

I've been mad at the government before, I've been pissed at doctors/HMOs/HC, cultural situations, religion and many more. But hurt someone? Nah.

Are you angry, sad, concerned? Vote, protest, write a blog, handout out petitions, chain yourself to something, create a satirical play, angry youtube post, carry a picket-sign, boycott products or places, run for office or just climb on a soapbox and start talking.

I'm not saying anything new or unique. I just felt the need to say it. I got my news today and I thought of Joe Stack.

That guy was no hero and any point he had was destroyed by his horrible act.

For anyone who just got bad news, sorry and tomorrow is another day.

2. He had been audited numerous times and had a history with the IRS
going back 30 years. On top of that he was having marital problems.

16. Yeah, you'll tend to get a history with the IRS if you refuse to pay your taxes.

3. Is your bad news that they are impounding your plane to pay your tax burden?
If so, its easy to claim the sane moral highground. :)

6. I have a good friend getting royally screwed by the IRS..
.. for a problem that he innocently got involved with.

He's not going to do anything dramatic either. He's
simply taking it to legal resolution.

14. You are basically affirming what any decent person with even a modicum of knowledge, reason,
and yes, humanity, generally feel and do. Those in society who lack these essential minimal societal attributes seem to create an inordinate amount of trouble, death, destruction. :P

18. That's very true.
I guess the problem those who lack is can't always pick them out the crowd before they do their damage.

23. Try your local taxpayer advocate.
They were a huge help to me years back.

You can find one on the IRS website.

Best of luck to you! :)

26. Emanuel said "progressives are f-ing retarded" and I'm not retarded!
Sure, I act retarded sometimes but I'm not entering the special Olympics! Seriously, how many people are going to fly planes into buildings? Answer: very, very few, regardless of their life consequences.
