Only the jobs lost over the Hummer debacle are good, all-American, patriotic jobs! Workers of Toyota plants can go fuck themselves, because they are either not Americans or hate America. Or both.

3. Yes, and the OP's sarcasm is directly intended
to point that out. I think he's done a good job with that, but it's gonna go over a lot of people's heads, as sarcasm inevitably does. Which is what makes it so hilarious when people complain about it.

22. Who Doesn't
enter a trade of business to make money? Business occurs because of trading and money being made; nothing is done or performed for free. The jobs lost within our country are jobs lost to Americans, whether you want to see it that way or not. Pro Union or Anti Union, all should be supportive of Americans that lose jobs. Unless, that is, you also agree that "the American people don't want (healthcare)..."

25. If you mean they make ugly cars, then you're correct.
Being female, I don't feel that Toyota has deprived me of any "manly manliness," but they sure have contributed tremendously to the downfall of American manufacturing.

24. I live in a non-union state (right to be fired... er right to work state)
so I care about non-union workers tremendously.

However, I don't care if Toyota picks up their ball and goes home. Sure, I will be extremely sorry to see these Americans losing their jobs - it's horrid in this economy. But, on the flip side, what American would ever honestly think that a non-American multi-national company would care about laying off American employees to move back home and give those jobs to their own countrymen and women who also need work?

If Toyota goes home, maybe, just MAYBE, workers in this country will unite to force our government to bring back American manufacturing.

For example, Ford would LOVE to open more plants in the United States, but our Draconian policies regarding access to health care insurance, trade and tariffs have made this next to impossible.

26. You don't support unionized workers, and I don't support non-unionized workers. How do YOU come out
morally superior in that equation? Cause it looks like we're both ultimately looking out for number 1. :hi:
