Health Care For America NOW!
For those folks who support Health Care Reform, here is a good organization that has been every active in organizing folks, and pushing health care reform:

http://healthcareforamericanow.org/

On February 24th, the health insurance company survivors who’ve been walking 135 miles from Philadelphia, PA to Washington, DC for health reform will arrive. We need to be there to back them up with a barrage of action so Congress hears us and knows they must get health care done and get it done right.

We’re partnering with MoveOn.org and dozens of other progressive groups to make sure Congress hears from us one million times on February 24th with a “virtual march” on Washington!

Can you join us and fax, email, and call Congress on February 24th?

* * *

We’re holding rallies all over the country to send Congress a message: We need them to get health reform done and get it done right.

1. Like that's going to happen in a country that lets torturers go free
I rec'd the post but it's an empty cause as long as the very root of corruption in the U.S. is ignored.

5. "Democrats" Preaching Apathy and Inaction?
Remember how some folks on this board were arguing that Coakley should lose? Or, that Democrats should not support her in order to send a protest vote?

At a certain point, if you are preaching inaction and apathy, are you really a Democrat? Are you really a liberal?
