3. Who do you think did do this, if it wasn't the three serving time?

6. I don't honestly know
The finger has been pointed in a few other directions, but I haven't seen enough proof to say with 100% certainty who did those killings. But I think there is absolutely no proof that the ones sitting in prison did it.

7. The stepfather was shown to have lied about several instances
And blood was found on a knife that he had given to the producers of the HBO documentary, Unfortunately a DNA test was never performed. You don't have t know who did it, if you can show for certain that the West Memphis Three did not do it. It is up to the state to find the killers. And that looks to be almost impossible at this point considering that the police deliberately threw away evidence.

10. I recommend watching "Paradise Lost"
It's a documentary about the West Memphis Three case. Very compelling.

Terry Hobbs is one of the stepfathers but probably not the one you are thinking of. The really creepy one from Paradise 1 and 2 was Mark Byers. For many years he was the prime suspect of most West Memphis 3 supporters. He's the one that gave the PL producers a knife that had blood on it. There was never much evidence against Byers, though, except for his extreme weirdness.

There IS considerable evidence against Terry Hobbs, including DNA evidence. A hair that was found inside one of the knots on the shoelace used to tie one of the boys was identified as belonging to Terry Hobbs. Another hair was found with a DNA match to a man that Terry Hobbs was with that night. Hobbs has told several different stories to investigators about his whereabouts and timeline on the night of the murders. His wife at the time (now ex-wife) has also come out recently and said that she believes the WM3 should receive a new trial and has indicated her suspicions of Terry.

Hobbs recently lost a defamation suit against Natalie Maines and the Dixie Chicks. Natalie said at a rally that she thought Terry was the murderer and he sued her. The judge threw out his suit but it may have backfired on Hobbs because during his deposition he made further statements that were inconsistent with his previous statements.

17. I'm guessing it was one of the step fathers.
When it was revealed that the victims had bite marks on them that could help identify the perpetrator(s), one or maybe even two of the step fathers had all of his teeth removed. It's a travesty of justice that the WM3 are still incarcerated.

4. I have seen the two HBO documentaries and they were great
Paradise Lost 1 and 2. It is horrific what happened to those three boys, but if the wrong people are serving time for the crime it is even more of a tragedy. I will have my DVR set for this Saturday.

12. Me and my family were living in Memphis when this happened
I followed the news stories carefully and I must say at the time I felt the right people were arrested and convicted. I saw one documentry and came away still feeling they had the right people behind bars. Will try to watch this new one Sat. night.

16. Hi Tippy
I'm curious as to why you thought they were guilty. I don't mean that as an attack in any way. I have read quite a bit about this murder and I have very mixed feelings about it. I've often wondered what the people that lived in that area thought about the case at the time.
