Talk about a major scumbag. It's no fricken other than
Rudy Giuliani who, not surprisingly I guess, is turning out to be a flip-flopping liar.

Not that I was planning on voting for him anyway, but he's sure showing his true GOP bigotry.

http://www.thelibertypapers.org/2007/04/27/rudy-giuliani-sells-out-on-civil-unions/
"...in a major reversal from an earlier position, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani now opposes civil unions between same sex partners.

<snip>

"...the New York Republican has backed off his earlier support for civil unions, prompted by the passage of a law in New Hampshire's State Senate.

"In this specific case the law states same sex civil unions are the equivalent of marriage and recognizes same sex unions from outside states. This goes too far and Mayor Giuliani does not support it," the Giuliani campaign said in a written response sent to the Sun's Ryan Sager."

****Didn't I read somewhere that America's "so-called mayor" insisted on puting NYC's emergency operations center inside the World Trade Center, even though he knew about the early 90's bombing and was warned by a lot of people not to.

I hope some of the candidates raise this issue because Mr. Giuliani is a fraud.

1. I figured this would happen. He never would get any support from
his party if he didn't change his position on this. It'll be curious to see what happens with his pro-life stance and his support of gun-control.

2. Rudy Giuliani is NO moderate
but then again, politics is often preception & not reality.....Giuliani has also said he supports justices in the mold of Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, & "Hirohito Alito" - in other words, FAR RIGHT CRACKPOTS...Rudy might not be a Sam Brownback, but he is NO Lincoln Chafee (a TRUE moderate, well, was, before he lost last Nov.)....

The next Supreme Court justice(s) desperately needs to be appointed by a Democrat....It's a frightening thought if Giuliani or ANY Republican gets to make that appointment!....
