Demoralizing our troops...Republican style
By Bu$h contracting out former military services to private corporate crony buddies (Halliburton, KBR, Blackwater, etc...) and placing them along side of the troops.

Our troops then get to work with, and protect contractors making 10 times the amount they do, plus the Blackwater guys have much better equipment.
Nearly as many "private warriors" in the Iraq occupation as our troops.
Bush's privatizing has hurt us financially, morale wise, and with the Iraqi's.
It is a slap in the face to our men and women who are serving their country.

3. I understand your sentiment...
...however I think you understand the point of my post.

"Serving our country" is a figure of speech.
Placing this mess at the foot of the grunt on the ground is a mistake in view.

5. and you're missing the larger point-- they are NOT serving their country...
...no matter how one frames it with verbal cliches. They are doing great harm to their country. Whether one wants to blame them for it or not, you must admit that the troops in Iraq are doing no good for America. Quite the opposite, they are undermining American interests at home and around the world.

6. Wouldn't it be great...
...if all the troops would walk away from this occupation?

2. You know that Blackwater recruiters know if your military
contract is nearing its end. I remember I was contacted by an oil company as my time was drawing to an end.

4. I can't imagine there's any single bigger demoralizer than going from 12 to 15 month deployment.
That one belongs entirely to Bush and his Secretary of Defense.
