The true definition of Conservatism....
Conserve what I have and whatever I want and fuck everybody else...

I got mine, fuck you...

Living life as a two year old...

1. We normally expect two year olds to grow up...
But conservatives?

Not so much.

4. Even that doesn't work
Unless you already own everything, if you look out only for yourself, you will lose more and more to those who own more then you do.

8. no actually they lose in the end.
Their wages stagnate like the rest of us.

They have more and more trouble paying bills like the rest of us. And like many, they go into debt trying to make up the difference.

They use government functions like police and medicare. They need clean water and air.

Most of them pay the bulk of taxes so that the rich have less of a "Burden", just like the rest of us.

Those that are black or gay or women would be as adversely affected by the kinds of social laws the cons want to make as any black, gay female liberal.

That's the irony. The teabaggers are mad and they even have good reasons to be.

But those reasons are not the reasons they are mad.

It's like someone in an abusive relationship. Deep down they probably know something is wrong. But they defend their abuser, attacking anyone who tries to clue them in.

It would just be sad if they weren't' dragging the rest of us down with them.

6. The actual definition is "Resistant to change".
That's why we are seeing so many temper tantrums being thrown by the kiddies.

7. The thing that gets me about conservatives is that they are always looking
toward change...

To change our money and freedom into theirs....

Seriously, I believe they are incapable of thinking about expanding the economy so that all can share in the benefits which of course expands the economy even more...

It's always when the concentration of wealth and power is consolidiated that constriction occurs.

9. You hit it on the head.
...they are incapable of thinking about expanding the economy so that all can share in the benefits...

I have seen many cons that automatically assume if you are helping someone who isn't yourself, you are going to get screwed and nothing good with come of it.

Some qualify that as saying they only mean the government but government is of and by the people so if gov isnt' helping people, it's not because the idea itself can't ever work.

They also see it as if someone else wins they lose. If minorities get more opportunities, then whites lose. if Gays get equal rights, the straight people somehow suffer. And unless America keeps the rest of the world in line with it's wishes, the world will try to screw it (which ironically because of that attitude, we often end up with a self fulfilling prophecy)
