I’m really enjoying the Meg Whitman ads out here in California
She promises to run California just like a Business! So she’s going to down size starting with her best trained workers, borrow money, run large debts, sell off the valuable assets, go bankrupt, then beg the federal government for a bail out. Basically she planning to run California just like the last guy again. I thought we already tried running it like a business? I'm feeling the public isn't all fired up for a pro-corporation message just right now. Do these people live in a bubble? Does she realize many/most of the people voting for her have probably have been royally screwed by corporate America in the last decade?

2. That "just like a business" might get her a lot of votes.

I swat flies around here all the time about that meme trying to show people that we already have that and we don't need any more, but they don't understand. I'm thinking of trying something new in my arguments. I will tell them that they want our government to be a kingdom. I will convince them that all businesses run like that. You have a king and aristocracy that get most of the benefits of everyone elses labor. I will ask them when was the last time, on the job, that they were able to speak their mind and vote for policies in the company? There are so many more comparisons, but I don't see any of our Dems fighting this BS. btw her staff must have really polled that because I have heard it over and over again in the past including about GWB, whom I have had to point out had an MBA from Harvard.

3. She's trying to buy the Governor's seat
I have no doubt she'd run the state further into the ground. It's all about buying a title for her, she doesn't have the state's best interest at heart.

First anti-Whitman radio ads launched

Democrats who want Jerry Brown to be California's next governor aren't waiting for Brown to declare his candidacy. An independent expenditure committee formed by Brown backers launched its first radio ad Tuesday attacking Republican Meg Whitman.

The group, which calls itself Level the Playing Field 2010, is expected to receive funding from labor groups and other Brown allies worried about Whitman's vast personal wealth. They are seeking to paint Whitman as an elite corporate billionaire who refuses to talk to voters.

8. I have yet to see "Republican" in any of her ads
I would love to see one ad simply says "Meg Whitman is a Republican." for 30 seconds.

Her run would be finished.
