CPAC's goal is pretty clear to me.
This years klan rally of the super-wealthy elite revolved around 1 topic.

They attempted to hide the fact. That goal was supposed to remain unwritten and unspoken. But hatred can't be hidden.

That goal..
Putting Reich Wing whitey back in charge.

And those Fascists think they can hide that blatant fact.

Even Bill ORielly called out CPAC speakers for their personal attacks against the President.

When speakers like Dick Armey and BecKKK took the stage, they brought their bone through the nose anti-Obama racist diatribes with them.

Make no mistake. Tax cuts took a back seat at this years CPAC. Wage-busting and union-busting took a back seat. Strategizing a plan to kill the middle class took a back seat. That's saying something.

This years CPAC is all about putting whitey back in charge.

The mouth is an eye into the heart and brain. Hatred in ones heart is often 100 times stronger than what comes out of their mouths. If their mouths are speaking blatant hatred for a non white 'Socialist' then imagine the amount of hatred in their hearts and minds.

At the bare minimum..

Fascists should be marginalized, not elected.

3. I can't recommend it enough
I still believe that ultimately class-ism is more serious but racism is more vile. Blood Done is much like other KKK/segregationist/etc. movies but the story has to continue to be told. My partner and I got out from the movie and at the same time said 'this should be required viewing' I am white and was in my teens during the riots in Detroit. I don't want to go back. I want us to move forward; make something better than what we have. I see troubling hints of those vile years coming out of late...

4. Henry Dortress Marrow, Junior
Edited on Sun Feb-21-10 07:38 PM by HillbillyBob
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Marrow

called Dickie by his friends and family, was 23 when he was murdered in Oxford, North Carolina on May 11, 1970, the victim of a violent "hate crime". Henry Marrow's three killers were all found "not guilty". This verdict spurred a rebellion by blacks in the county and influenced events across the country.

The rest of the story of Henry at the link.
Murdered because the white guys claimed Marrow said something 'flirtatious' to his white wife.

Sad and disgusting, and not a bit unusual unfortunately.

5. very sad
the trial ended on an unfortunate note but the resulting organization was inspiring... Ben Chavis told them to take their money elsewhere... that rings true today and if we just realized the power we could have if we walked with our money... not the only final solution but damn, it would be a good start. I am working in Baltimore City right now and I understand more and more the importance of "community organizing" and working together - all of us!

7. I appreciate the correction
:) I do believe that there are people conscious of what they are doing and I believe that there are some who have deep seated fears/training/indoctrination that are clueless as to where their emotions come from...

9. Listened to excerpts on Thom Hartmann this week. Everything they said
about Socialism Can be turned back on them as actually being true of Free Market Capitalism. Every point they made described the harms caused by Socialism for Corporations.

P.S. It's kind of hard to listen to this stuff on Thom Hartmann; it seems to me that even though Thom does a decent debate, their side has such a huge advantage in the MSM status quo that they don't deserve Thom's show too!
