Has less to do with keywords than it does demeanor, confidence and ability to basically talk intelligently about whatever one's argument is.

If that argument is one that can be proven or dismissed by research and fact, then you need to have that on hand. If it's a theoretical/ideological debate, then you need to be able to support your position calmly and convincingly.

Clear signs of loser-ness:

Getting angry, claiming victimization or insult (unless accurate, obviously and you prove it), changing the subject - especially by bringing up something unrelated that is either:
-- meant to undermine the other side ("Well, YOU were wrong about this OTHER thing!"), or
-- is a personal attack against one's opponent.

36. I hate that word too. It impies that they (the "sheeple") support the elites because they are dumb

or posses some kind of innate lack of intellectual fortitude. If that were true, the elites would not need to pump out so much propaganda. After all, a stupid populace that is incapable of rational thought cannot organize and would therefore pose absolutely no threat to them.

Republicans have been saying this to me for over 20 years-when they have no base for an argument they (usually men) will just say they used to be like me and I'll understand when I get older. So condescending.

Of course, oftentimes they were more around 22 when they turned to the Dark Side-and what's really funny is that I still look young for my age (pushing 40) so I have had people younger than me say this to me...which is just hilarious to see the look on their face. Feeling especially cranky once I said, "You mean if I was a Republican I could look older? no thanks!"
