Unfortunately they are all BAD ideas.

Some are worse than others

Some are downright cataclysmic.

Most of their ideas involve "sticking it to" someone, some group of people

Their ideas are usually lacking in details, but that lack is more than made up for, by an overabundance of cliches, code-words and simplistic illogical presumptions.

They take great offense whenever they are challenged, but even though they get MORE free airtime than democrats, they spend most of their time trashing the real ideas proffered by democrats, and very little (if any) time, telling us all just what those fantastic ideas they have are all about.

Republicans have the mistaken idea that a government can run on auto-pilot, just so long as all rules, regulations and oversight are removed.

One look at Wall Street tells us otherwise.

It's not a new phenomenon either.

Eisenhower and Nixon actually may have been the most benign republicans we have known. People forget that Nixon started the EPA..and without Eisenhower, we would not have the highway system we have. (It contributed to the suburban sprawl, but the auto industry & their pals were well into their plan to undo public transportation even before the interstate highway system was created).

Other than those two, I am hard-pressed to find anything positive that other republicans have "given" us.
