Is there any hope for health care reform now? The senate has apparently quit, and the house
is laying low. If they wait until next year, we won't have a chance to pass anything.

1. How do you figure that?! Senators signing Bennett's letter to
Reid, requesting reconciliation of the HCR bill and you equate that to, "the senate has apparently quit?" Wow! Just wow!

6. How many have signed? Not nearly enough.
That was just a little feel good gesture to keep the "far left" on board.

8. That's how you get things done. By being "on board." By
applying pressure to our senators. From 0 to 4 to 14 in 2 days is the kind of momentum it takes to get reconciliation. That won't be done if we stay silent.

5. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, I'm hopeless.
Fool me four or more times, I'm a naive progressive masochist.

7. I think the House wants the Senate to pass a reconciliation bill first, then
they can pass the Senate version of the bill that already exists.

9. Our senate will never pass a reconciliation bill. With Harry Reid as "leader"?- no way.
