For all he knows the pilot may be a local rethuglican VIP. And OxyRush knows that if he slams the pilot too hard too soon that his words will come back to bite him in the ass. So for right now he will just go the "victim of Obama's policies" route. If he can tie the pilot to Obama or the Dem party more closely later on he sure as hell will. If he has any rethuglican or teabagger ties we won't hear much about it other than he was driven over the edge.
