I may disagree with how much of the money was spent and I don't know how many jobs were saved and created but for me to know 10 people at one place of employment it sure helped out some people and the econom

3. Three work for me in a research lab at a med school
one position is full time with benefits, one is part time, the other is a paid internship for an outstanding high school student.

The others are full time positions working in medical research for laboratories whose funding was running out because of the cuts in research but the stimulus bought the laboratories anywhere from an extra year to five years to secure additional funding. In addition the fact that the laboratories are still running also means the money is stimulating manufacturing to supply consumables to the labs.

11. Yes, I do too, because I hired them in my school district. It has provided a lot of jobs that may
not be apparent. Actually more than 10 because the money that we didn't need to spend on teachers because of stimulus money we could use to retain custodians and receptionists.

all last year on a stimulus project. Last spring the owner (a Republican) said he only had enough work for a couple weeks. Then he got a contract to repave a US highway and it kept his crews busy the whole paving season.
