For those so young that they only know CADDELL as a Faux employee who is unaccountably labeled "Dem" but whose permanent gig is to bash all things Democratic: His claim to Dem fame is that he was credited as the strategist/pollster responsible for Jimmy CARTER's win and he has been trading off that ever since 1976 while, at the same time, LOSING EVERY campaign he has touched, including the roll-out of the New Coke.

President CARTER's breast was a virtual nest of vipers: CADDELL; Tweety, who as a D.C. flunky worships SUCCESS, meaning he worships RAYGUN, and trashed CLINTON-GORE for a decade and lusted after Shrub for eight years; and David RUBENSTEIN, one of the co-founders of the Carlyle Group.

So this particular Dem candidate is challenging the current Dem, so maybe Coloradans(sp?) will delineate, but meantime for a Dem to WIN, first FIRE CADDELL...

But, wait, this STILL fits CADDELL's m.o.: (Still without my knowing these two Dems) There CADDELL is, working AGAINST a Dem current officeholder. (Besides putting the CADDELL curse on his own candidate.)

Romanoff cans Caddell in Colorado

By DAVID CATANESE | 2/17/10 9:03 AM EST

Colorado Democrat Andrew Romanoff's Senate campaign severed ties with strategist Pat Caddell Tuesday after video surfaced of the longtime Democratic adviser blasting environmentalists and labor, both critical constituencies in Colorado politics.

In a November appearance with conservative policy advocate David Horowitz, Caddell called the SEIU "thugs" and said environmentalists were out to "deconstruct capitalism."

Hours after a video of the comments was posted on the political website, ColoradoPols.com, the Romanoff campaign announced it had removed Caddell from its campaign team.

"Today a video was posted on ColoradoPols, in which Pat expressed views that were completely at odds with Andrew's campaign, his career and his commitment to the environment and to Colorado's working families. Andrew heard those comments for the first time this afternoon and ended Pat's role in the campaign," said Romanoff spokesman Dean Toda in a statement. ....

The flap comes at the same time the appointed Democratic senator he's trying to upend is also attempting to burnish his credentials with the progressive wing of the party.

Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) joined three other Democratic senators Tuesday in asking Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) to use reconciliation, a controversial procedure requiring only 51 votes, to push for a public option in health care legislation. ....

9. Absolutely, as speechwriter
Tweety's political & self-interested employment:

1) Started with parents who were "cloth coat (Rethugs)."

2) Joined Peace Corps, slightly from Irish-Catholic pride over JFK, but mostly (he SAYS) "to get out of going to Vietnam."

3) Worked 3 months as Capitol policeman, but only listed this when it became known as "heroic" to do that in the '97(?) shooting. It was actually for him a rent-a-cop job.

4) Dems were a force in D.C., the source of employment, so he hired on as a flunky in the Dem machine...reaching the heights with Tip O'NEILL and CARTER.

5) When RAYGUN whipped Dem ass, Flunky Tweety let loose his flunky worship of success and flipped on over, like his mentor G.E.RUSSERT (LIMBOsevic worshipper), into being a de facto Rethug operative. the last time he was identifiably a "Dem operative" (his label), was circa '88, when "Hardball" the book was published.

6) His bashing of CLINTON culminated in Campaign 2000, during which he was totally nasty to GORE every fucking day on the air.

7) He slobbered lust over Shrub for eight years. Since he is clueless to women, including his wife, and despite having children, why doesn't he just declare he loves Rethug males?!1 As South Park said about TRAVOLTA-CRUISE-JACKSON, "Come OUT of the (literal) closet!1 Nobody cares..."

11. I knew he worked for O'Neill. I did not know Carter. He's such a tool.
He totally slurped Bush, then slurped Obama and now seems off Obama.

I gave up watching him about two years ago. He reminds me of the people I hated in graduate school. Ugh!

Thanks!

6. I don't think he'd ever really unleash...
JC will excoriate over policy (e.g., his fearless taking on of GWBush* over the past years), but I don't recall him ever going personal against the vipers who so wronged him.... Seems JC "walks the walk" of a more revered JC.

12. I can't stand Caddell. It makes me sick that he pretends to be
a democrat. He's not. Not by a long shot. And he's racist too. Just can't get over the fact that Obama is not all white.

He makes me sick to my stomach and I turn him off whenever somebody puts him on.
