Is Dick Cheney Demented? What he is saying makes no sense.
Edited on Tue Feb-16-10 05:53 PM by Mike 03
Richard Cheney seems to be suffering from "I was wrong, but it doesn't matter." Having studied criminal law for so long, even though it is petty, I hate the idea that an ignorant, bad and dangerous person could leave this planet without feeling guilt or knowing that he did evil and that many of us despise him and do not forgive him (because he never asked to be forgiven) wish him nothing good.

How in the hell is Dick Cheney in any stance to criticize President Obama?

What good has Dick Cheney done for anyone on this planet?

Name one thing Dick Cheney has done for anybody, to make their lives better?

I am not proud to say this, but my emotions--not logic, but sheer primative, primal dinosaur brain--hate this man with every bone in my body.

I hope his wiser kin can convince him to apologize for the horror he has caused this nation.

Maybe then I could forgive him.

EDIT: If anyone here has studied forensic psychiatry, psychology or anything and has a theory of Dick Cheney, I would love to hear it. The guys days are numbered, what will he do with that fortune of his in a grave? Why did he help destroy America when he had nothing to gain from it?

(I forgive everybody, lol)

2. He has spoken up in support of immediately repealing DADT
That's something, and it's more than many politicians are willing to do. So far they are studying it and thinking about it. Cheney acknowledges that society has "moved on" and "progressed" since DADT was instituted.

It's one thing, but it is important to some people.

answering questions. Karl Rove did it once in an interview to answer the question as to what his function was in the Bush administration and he answered with a sentence that made no sense even though it had syntax. Then he smiled and said that this was what his function was. I noticed Condi Rice was really good at it too, so why shouldn't Cheney be? IMHO they are all sociopaths, but I have no sympathy for them because they could get help.

5. Propaganda and authoritarianism
Cheney makes the case that his criminal conduct was all perpetrated in good faith--the ends justified the means. He gets away with it because the political/media establishment lets him.

8. One of the most hated men in America
Edited on Tue Feb-16-10 05:58 PM by quinnox
and he knows it. But he doesn't care. He is flipping the middle finger at everyone when he goes in the spotlight once again, "Yea, I know everyone hates me, but look at me, here I am, all of you can go to hell!" He likes doing this.

He is an intelligent man, but uses his smarts for the dark side. He is a darth vader or emperor palpatine.

There is a famous video where a guy off the street told him to fuck off, and Cheney laughed about it, it didn't faze him, he expected it.

10. The Dick is a seriously sick man
a war criminal, a sociopath, and a fugging coward who knows that the US was attacked on his watch and is trying to rewrite history.
The good news is that he's in pain every hour of the day - there is justice. I can't wait to pop champagne when that evil money-loving scumbag croaks.

12. I have a hunch that some of his pathology relates to anoxia
Edited on Tue Feb-16-10 06:10 PM by hlthe2b
after his several severe heart attacks. It has been reported that some experience major personality changes after some degree of anoxia--whether from brain trauma or heart attack so severe as to stop the heart-- that plus the anger at the situation, the loss, the loss of control.... I think he is a full fledged sociopath, but his friends from long ago have reported that they no longer recognize him as the man they knew decades ago.

I think he has always been a pompous, arrogant, narcissistic man, but I think he no longer cares.. In his mind, "the world owes him..." He's a sociopath, if not a full fledged psychopath.
