1. I'll never understand this "early voting" stuff
make absentee ballots available to all who want them and vote early that way.

2. Well it is electronic voting if that makes a difference.

the point is, is it is easy to vote. At your liesure on your day off. It has become so popular in Texas they should make it mandatory and cancel the official vote day. That day when you have to find your official voting place which might make you not vote cause you can't find a place to park or you are at work and can't get there. Or you don't even know where your poling place is. With early voting just go to any library.

4. In TX, early voting is vastly better than casting an absentee ballot.
Early voting is done the same way election day voting is, but over 10 days, always to include a weekend.

This makes it much easier for everyone to have an opportunity to vote, in the same fashion as Election Day, but at a time of their choosing.

In TX, there are restrictions on who may vote absentee. If you meet those, then you first request an application to vote by mail, if approved you wait to receive your ballot, once completed, you are at the mercy of the postal system meeting local deadlines.

Early voting is the way to go.
