1. Sue 'em when they breach...
b/c you can rest assured there will be damages suffered by this country.

Also, what's the "consideration" for their contract?

Again, those shitstains always reach to the past for their 'new' ideas.

2. Their last contract was to show Republicans keep their word.
Edited on Tue Feb-16-10 01:02 PM by Winterblues
In fact they said to prove it they would put it all in writing, thus the "Contract with America". Now let's examine whether they kept their word on anything at all. One of the items in their Contract was term limits for Congress. The Extreme Court ruled that unconstitutional so many if not most made a solemn promise they would hold themselves to that and impose their own term limits upon themselves. However when the time came for them to quit just how many actually did? Most ignored their own Promise and ran for re-election anyway..There was more in that Contract that Republicans have chosen to ignore over the years...Which PROVES beyond any doubt that their Word or Promise is useless.

3. The right is far better at this than we are.
I try to understand why but it is a sensitive issue here. My hunch is that we do not seem to believe in the idea that we are responsible for our lives the way the right does. I'm going to get slammed here but I think until we realize that we have something to learn from the right we will always sit back and take it.

5. There will be nothing original. And it will not be proactive.
They will trot out libertarian harshness. They will flower it up, with personal responsibility platitudes. When WE insist they flesh it out, it iwll fail. And if they revive the old Reagan stigma's, they are sunk.
