Rated 50% by NARAL, indicating a mixed voting record on abortion. (Dec 2003

Rated 60% by the ACLU, indicating a mixed civil rights voting record. (Dec 2002)

Rated 89% by the HRC, indicating a pro-gay-rights stance. (Dec 2006)

Rated 100% by the NAACP, indicating a pro-affirmative-action stance. (Dec 2006)

Rated 75% by APHA, indicating a pro-public health record. (Dec 2003)

3. You can be confident that the Repub that gets Bayh's seat will not get those scores
Evan Bayh is not the incarnation of evil as so many on DU would like think. He is a right leaning Democrat that has had to get re-elected in a conservative state. It will be quite a while, if ever, before this state elects a "Progressive" Liberal.

in Bayh's case, he's done far more than that. As a member and head of the DLC, he was working to push the entire democratic party to the right. That is a disservice to Democrats in specific and America in general.

Were these war votes??? do these votes illustrate how
supports or does not support the middle class???

Deficit hawk and upset because his commission to reform
SS, Medicare and Medicaid failed in the Senate. This
tells me more than some groups rating.
