Really, they need to be slapped.

11. I think those who bought commercial time
might slap them around.

3. They do it every time
Without fail, the results of events get blabbed every Olympics because of the time delay.

4. Yeah, if WINNING is all that matters to you
Watching the Olympics is watching the best conditioned athletes the world have to offer and sometimes it's sheer poetry whether they win or not. If all you care about is who gets the prize, then don't bother watching.

17. Agreed!
Beautifully stated!

There are some events I'm not really THAT interested in, but I might tune in to, just for a lark. But knowing the results ahead of time? Nah.

It's "The Big Labowsky" on DVD tonight!

Besides, the McDonald's commercials last night during the short program for the pairs figure skating drove me nuts! I haven't eaten at a McDonald's in 20 years, and all those commercials (for horrible, unhealthy food!) just reinforced my decision!

F*CK NBC!!!!

6. I hate that they are delaying these games on the West Coast. What a bunch of bull.
And I hate spoilers!

7. I get email alerts from my local news
and they started putting "spoiler" in their subject lines.

10. Why aren't you getting it live?
NBC has the exclusive contract to do so.

13. What really pisses me off about this is that I'm less than 500 km and in the same time zone.
Barring delays, I could drive there sooner than I'd learn from NBC.

Aggressively, blatantly stupid.

Ours did too - the snowboarding, which I was looking forward to. I'll still watch, but it certainly takes the thrill out of it.
