I don't know what to do with all my anger towards the right wing anymore....
so I've decided to channel it towards something useful here lately. I've doubled my time at the local homeless shelter. I've taken up knitting again. I took in two cats and a homeless beagle to take care of this winter.

I'm never gonna give up the good fight. I'm gonna keep voting and keep signing up new voters every cycle.

Keep the faith. We will win out sooner than later. I know it. I have to believe it.

1. I applaud your activism!
Those are all excellent things to do.

You are not only accomplishing good things, but you are also putting yourself in charge of your life, of the things that you have control over.

You have dropped the proverbial stone into the water, and where those ripples will go, and what they will accomplish, nobody will probably ever know.

But it started with you.

2. Focus on the things that really matter, ignore the things you can't change.
Or at least that is what I do. It sounds like you are doing the first part. I have discovered that it is good for your health to ignore people that anger you.

Nothing you can say or do will change the behavior of the right wing, so don't waste your anger on them. Do they deserve so much of your emotional energy? That energy is better spent on those things you believe make a difference since each of us only has a finite capacity for such things. At the end of the day, the world turns on results. If you achieve good things, those add up on their own. If enough good people achieve good things, they can build this world up faster than others can tear it down. Nobody can take away your accomplishments.

That is my philosophy in a nutshell. I don't fret over stupid or bad people, as they won't change because of my fretting. Instead I work on building a world where stupid and bad people don't matter anymore.

but remember there is more to life than this (you would never know it hanging around here, but there really is).

All the best.

4. win out?
We have a Democrat president and majority in congress and senate for over a year. How does one win out any more than that?
