c-span: "war: where's the common ground?"
is this question appropriate before dubya vetoes the bill?

why isn't the question: "should dubya veto the bill?"

why discuss compromise, with the emphasis being on the dems giving something up?

looks to me like the ball is strictly in dubya's court now.

veto or no veto.

1. The question should be: Has Bush ever compromised and
lived up to it? Seems to me every "compromise" has been broken - example a compromise to the Patriot Act that was negated by a bush signing statement.

Or "Can Bush be trusted?" might be a good question.

But we won't ever see those questions on the cspan am call in show.
