A humble thank you to DU

I don't even know what to write, I am so overwhelmed by the generosity of the DU community, and not just with currency but with the love and kindness you all have shown to me and my sister Jill. That people, who for all intents and purposes are strangers, are willing to help someone in need from across the globe just amazes me. I can never thank you all enough.

Markus, Pig and I were a family. Now they are both gone and I feel so very alone and scared about what is going to happen to me and all the love and support the DU community has given me has helped me feel a little less alone in this world. That people are keeping me in their hearts and sending good vibes, hugs, prayers, whatever, makes my pain a little easier to carry.

A very special thank you to my big sister of the heart, Dystopian, for all your strength, wisdom, love and kindness. You are a beautiful soul my friend and I will hold you in my heart always.

With the humblest of gratitude, I thank the DU community. You are an amazing bunch of people.

I missed Dys' thread, but I am glad to know that enough people were around to hold you up during this time when you've so needed it.

It's gonna be a long road, sweetie. Know you have people here who feel for what you are going through and are there to help you keep moving along that road. Just think of yourself as an emotional hitchhiker right now, and let whoever will help you reach your next destination when you need it.
