The idiot governor of Nevada, facing an enormous funding gap, could have called for taxing one of the most under-taxed industries in the state, mining. He could have stressed the importance of education to individuals and society - but no. Instead the fucking idiot asked for fucking EDUCATION GIFT CERTIFICATES!

For teachers, a new kind of plan was unveiled... Gift certificates from the public, toward teacher pay.

"I think it's a great way to show the generosity of the people of Nevada, education gift certificates are a way we can voluntarily allow teachers to get higher salary."

"So honey, should we donate to the homeless or the poor orphans this month?"

"I think we should donate to the teachers - after all, Billy got that A in math last week."
