service about a Temporary Flight Restriction "Presidential event" all around Tulsa right when I'm supposed to
pick up some peeps and fly them to Denver...and I called the Flight Service Station and they didn't answer!
This is totally weird, they ALWAYS answer the phone! :eyes: Trying again, it just rings...what's up with this?????

I few to Oklahoma to buy a Beech Bonanza with my dad in 1967. Walt Disney had died that day. Enid, Oklahoma. We flew in on a DC-3. And I got to stand in the cockpit and watch as we came in.

Boy have times change. Like I even need to mention it. But it's a fond memory.
