Another "thanks for the heart" thread coupled with why I love DU.

Thank you for the heart, mysterious donor. It made me feel very good.



And now to why I love this board?

It's filled with people who think very much like I do. Not everyone. There's guns, there's smoking and a plethora of other things we can all argue about...

But it's still cool that we are all on the same side on so many other things.

Racial equality? Check.


Sexual identification? WTF is that?

GLBT Rights? Check.


Democratic ideals like single payer? Check.






There are a lot of other reasons to like DU. Sure, if it were my board... But it's not. What it is is the best damned board on the net today to fill my needs as a progressive Democrat. Easy to search, maneuver and post on. Gotta love it.

Been to Huff and Kos but this seems to be the best for me when it comes to just plain speaking (sorry, Harry).
