The Draft Bill Halter facebook group is having a "Phone Bomb" today. We are calling Bill Halter to tell him we want him to challenge Blanche Lincoln for US Senator.

We have made some calls and they are beginning to notice our efforts. Can you help?

Let’s “Phone Bomb” Bill Halter to Primary Blanche Lincoln NOW!

If we can make 100 calls today, it will send a strong message to the Bill Halter campaign that Arkansans want a strong Democratic choice against the Republicans in November. That would equal a call every five minutes for eight straight hours. The more calls we can make, the better.

Don't know what to say? Just speak from your heart. If you need a script to build off of, then try this: "My name is ____ and I'm calling because I would really like to see Mr. Halter run for the U.S. Senate and would pledge to donate and/or volunteer for him if he did so." And this is important-make the person you're speaking with TAKE YOUR INFORMATION DOWN-it will help their campaign and it will be more effective at getting your message across.

With so many people calling, it may be hard for people to get through at certain times, so you may have to call multiple times to get a person to answer. Please invite anyone else you think might be interested in making calls.

By calling now, we will make sure that they hear that we are here and we want a strong Democrat to keep the seat in November. Challenging an incumbent from his own party is a big risk to take. We need to let him know he won’t take that risk alone. Lt. Governor Bill Halter needs to see we will be there for him so that he can be there for us.
