Just when you think everything's kind of a bummer and sarah palin is getting WAY too much ardor from the great unwashed (who unfortunately can be counted on to think whatever way you tell them to think and then go vote in droves) and the country is shifting too far to the wrong and there really is no pendulum to swing back toward normalcy again - THIS happens! And you get a heart from who knows who? And then New Orleans earns itself a really nice evening for a change - and something well worth celebrating! And I haven't been around posting for months. I didn't think anybody even remembered me, much less want to send me a heart.
I guess maybe it's not such a glum day after all.
That - and the fact that the Super Bowl meant most people in L.A. were OFF the streets and freeways, and we could make it from Santa Monica to Hollywood in mere minutes instead of an hour and a half. It felt like 4 in the morning and it was prime early evening time!
Glad it happened for you, too, lunatica! I hope it brightened your day, too! Frankly, I needed that.
